How Do Veneers Work?

Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain that are shaped to look like the fronts of teeth. These pieces will simply be attached to the fronts of the teeth that are visible when you smile to create a brand-new appearance.

But before the veneers can actually be attached, your teeth need some preparation. All that Dr. Gabriel will do is take a minuscule amount of enamel off of those teeth. This is done so that the veneers look natural when they sit on your teeth and don’t stick out.

Once your teeth have been prepared, Dr. Gabriel can take an impression of your teeth. This impression is sent to the laboratory to create your veneers. You may receive temporary veneers to go over your teeth until your permanent veneers are ready. When your veneers are ready, Dr. Gabriel will securely place them on your teeth and your new smile will be complete.
